Bedrooms & Baths
- The cottage has two bedrooms

- The main bedroom is a large loft with a king-sized bed, comfortable reading area, a bookcase with a selection of good books and a generous closet

- The second bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a separate entrance to a small patio with bistro table and chairs
|

- The bathroom has a deep tub as well as a shower head
- The vanity has a granite top and lots of storage space
- The fixtures are wrought iron and there is a special thermal heater for extra heat when coming out of the tub
- The floor is tiled in beach stones

Living Room
- A wall of light illuminates a comfortable faux leather sofa, chair and ottoman
- The living room includes a 40 inch flat screen TV and wireless, high speed internet
- A large glass-topped coffee table is the perfect landing spot for snacks, books, candles, etc.

- A wood stove with lots of kindling and firewood is available for chilly evenings
- Original art work by Alex Fong, some antique pieces, colourful pillows and rugs all add to the ambiance

Kitchen & Dining Area
- The kitchen features Douglas fir cupboards and granite counter tops
- There is a small island and all the usual appliances (except a dishwasher)
- The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, glassware, small appliances, pots and pans

- Outside on the patio there is a square table and four chairs
- There is also a gas barbecue on the patio just outside the kitchen

- The dining area has a glass topped table and four leather and wood chairs

Special Features
- The Cottage was designed by Jim Merrill (the last one before he died) and built by Paul Clarkson
- The Cottage gardens were designed and developed by Les Harris of Spindrift Garden Designs
- The property is 6.3 acres in size and has 1400 feet of private oceanfront. The owner lives by herself on the property but the Cottage is a considerable distance from the main house and was designed for maximum privacy

- Guests have access to a private beach house built by Mike Downey
- Guests also have access to two secluded beaches
- There is high speed wireless internet
- Wheelchair accessible on the main floor

** Two night minimum booking during Low and Shoulder Seasons, three night minimum during High Season
** Weekly (7 nights for the price of 6) and Monthly rates are available
** Major holidays that fall in low season and shoulder season will be charged at shoulder season and high season rates (respectively). The winter holiday season is Dec 18 through Jan 1.
** Under certain conditions, we may allow the number of registered guests to exceed the number of available beds, at a cost of $20.00 CAD per guest, per night. There is no additional charge for children under the age of 10.

- Cleaning fee: $130.00 to $150.00 CAD per stay depending on occupancy. Please note that stays longer than 7 nights may require additional cleaning services at the seasonal rates mentioned above, per cleaning

- Well-behaved, small dog may be allowed at $10.00 CAD per night. Please read our pet policy
