From the moment the gates swing open you know you have arrived at a very special place. The Eagle on the Beach is our most luxurious home from the beautifully appointed great room through the truly gourmet kitchen, den with high speed internet, stunning principal bedroom to the completely separate suite above the garage. There are water views from almost every room and the surrounding fence ensures privacy.

When the outdoors beckons launch your canoe or kayak easily into the sheltered waters of the cove, let the children splash along the beach, or gather the family around the fire pit. You can walk or bike to the Galloping Goose Trail, drop in at the Fuse Restaurant, or check out Rush Adventures. Seaparc Leisure Complex, zip-lining, and the village of Sooke are all 5 minutes away by car. Victoria the capital city of the province of British Columbia with its world class museums, shopping, and clubs is 25 minutes away by car.

The main house at the Eagles sleeps 6 - 8 comfortably in three bedrooms and the den. There three bathrooms in the main house. There is also the option of renting the suite that sleeps another 2 - 4.

Otter Point House

This stunning property commands historic Otter Point, 9 kilometres west of the village of Sooke. The views are breathtaking; the surf pounds; eagles soar; orcas, seals and resident otters swim by and there is access to an enchanting private cove. Otter Point House sleeps 12 comfortably with large common areas for the group as well as numerous spots for individual getaways. For larger groups, this house is next door to a second vacation home, T'Sou-ke-bye, and together the two houses sleep 21 people. Launch your kayak into the sheltered waters of the cove, paddle through the morning mist and greet the sunrise in the sparkling waters of the Sooke Harbour. Too much activity? Then watch the movement of the tides and the antics of the marine birds from the comfort of your hot tub, living room, bedroom, dining room or balcony. This beautifully treed two acre property situated along the shores of Cooper's Cove offers something special to every visitor - a luxurious house; privacy; incredible views; easy access to kayaking, hiking, bicycling, zip-lining, bird-watching, and freshwater swimming in the Sooke Potholes.

It is located just to the west of the village of Sooke, 50 minutes by car to Victoria, the capital city of the province of BC. T'Sou-ke-bye is designed with an open floor plan on the main level, a delightfully separate master suite and private decks off all the bedrooms. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms accommodating 7 people comfortably. For larger groups, this house is next door to a second vacation home, Otter Point and together the two houses sleep 21 people

This clean, older, two-bedroom cottage is situated on a stunning 1 1/2 acre property, 7 kilometres west of Sooke. A large deck over the carport is equipped with new outdoor furniture and barbeque. There is plenty of level space for family games, a big rock to climb, and 500 feet of beach. Poirier Cove Beach sleeps 4 people comfortably.

Beach Cabin at Tugwell Creek

This beautifully restored 1950s fishing cabin is situated right on the beach where Tugwell Creek flows into the Pacific Ocean. Launch your kayak from the front deck, step out from the living room onto Gordons' Beach and walk in either direction or drive a few minutes west for winter surf at Jordan River. If you wish to participate in quieter activities, the cabin is a perfect spot from which to watch the waves, the abundant sealife and the glorious sunsets. Just ten minutes from the village of Sooke, and fifty minutes from the city of Victoria, this studio cabin sleeps two people comfortably.

Gordon Suite New!

Located in sunny Saseenos, this charming one-bedroom suite is perfect for a more village-oriented holiday. Ride your bike to local shops and restaurants, travel on the Galloping Goose Trail, go zip-lining at Adrenaline, try kayaking at Rush adventures, watch whales with Sooke Coastal Explorations, or fish for supper with Mark Grant Salmon Charters. Best of all, if you are a diver or curious about diving, talk to your host Stu Gordon. The Gordon Suite is above Scuba Stu's dive shop.

After a day of activity, come home to the comfort of the Gordon Suite with its big furniture, gas fireplace, in-house laundry facilities, four-poster bed, and views over Sooke Harbour and forested East Sooke. The courtyard between the shop and the main house with its fountain, barbeque, and outdoor patio furniture is also available for use by guests.

The Gordon Suite sleeps two comfortably. It is 5 minutes by car to the Sooke village core, and 35 minutes to downtown Victoria the capital city of the province. It is important to note that the Gordon Suite is located within easy walking distance of local transit.

Do you need a temporary home because your old house has sold and your new one is not ready? Whatever your reasons, think about renting a vacation home for a few weeks or a few months.

Some of our home owners are interested in longer rentals in the off season (October through May) and they are prepared to negotiate a reasonable rent. All of the houses are furnished and utilities are connected. On stays of longer than one month GST and Hotel Room Tax do not apply.
